| With a BFA in painting & design from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University), Asche Douglas launched her professional career a half century ago with a prize-winning entry in the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh's 42nd annual at the Carnegie Museum of Art. She went on to earn a Master's degree in art history at the University of Pittsburgh. She works in a variety of media and styles. |

registries around the country.

is the name used for this aspect of her work. She was inducted into the Beaver Valley
Musicians' Hall of Fame in 2003.
